A drive and visit to the interior of Queen Victoria’s memorial, a wonderful building. Afterwards to a polo match – Jaipur versus Kashmir. IPA Championship Final; Jaipur won. Also Kashmir A Team versus the 10th Hussars – Kashmir won. The Viceroy and Lady Willingdon were there. Lady Willingdon presented the Polo prizes. The Maharajah of Jaipur received the Championship Trophy. The Black Watch passed our hotel on their way to and from Church Parade and made an inspiring spectacle with their Pipe and Military Bands. Went to bed early after doing a bit of packing – soon get tired out here.
