Christmas FAQs

What is the last order date for Christmas delivery?

Order online by Friday 20th December for guaranteed delivery in time for Christmas. Orders placed after this date may still arrive in time however can’t be guaranteed.

Will my salesperson visit before Christmas?

If you're unsure when your scheduled visits are, please get in touch and we'll be happy to help. If you're worried about running out over Christmas, you can double up on your normal order at one of your other visits. Unfortunately we're unable to advise an exact time that your salesperson will visit.

What is the best before date on gift boxes?

All products sold online have their best before date detailed in the product description. This date differs by product. The best before date provided for our gift boxes and hampers reflect the product inside that has the shortest shelf life.

Can I change the products in a gift box or hamper?

Unfortunately we can't amend products within any of our gift boxes or hampers.

Do your Christmas products sell out?

Yes! Our Christmas gifts and seasonal products are limited edition meaning they can sell out quickly. Whether you shop online or from one of our Ringtons Rounds, make sure you order in plenty of time.

Can I order online and have it delivered by my salesperson?

If your local salesperson doesn't have a specific product, it might be that its sold out. You can check if it's available to purchase online, or contact us for more information. Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver online orders via your salesperson.

When does Ringtons close for Christmas?

Our last working day will be Tuesday 24th December. The office will re-open on Thursday 2nd January. Our vans will be back to their normal delivery rounds from Monday 6th January.

What if I'm not in when you visit?

No worries. If you've had a delivery from us before but won't be in for your next visit, simply let us know which items you're after. Then give us a call and pay over the phone. If it's your first visit, you can still request for us to leave you some tasty treats, however we request that you leave the cash for this first order.

How do I get in touch with Ringtons?

Do Ringtons still deliver?

Yes! We still deliver great tea and treats directly to customers' doorsteps every other week or monthly, as well as through our online store. You can find out more about the Ringtons round by clicking here.

Is Ringtons a family business?

Yes, we’re now into the fifth generation of family members joining the Ringtons business. You can find out more about our story here.

Where is Ringtons tea made?

Our head office and factory is based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne with our factory producing over 45 million cups of tea every week. We source and blend teas from all over the world to ensure you get the freshest cuppa possible.

Why is Ringtons tea better?

The Ringtons Leaf Lock process is like no other. Our teas are grown in the finest regions around the globe, hand picked and vacuum packed at source to seal in the freshness before heading to Newcastle-upon-Tyne to be blended and packed, ready to create daily moments of joy from your first cuppa of the day.

Which supermarkets sell Ringtons tea?

We are not available in any major supermarket and the best way to purchase Ringtons is either direct from our website or through our personal delivery service.

Are Ringtons tea bags compostable?

Yes, our teabags are compostable with the exception of Ringtons Organic, these are still in standard teabag paper and are not compostable just yet. All of our teabags (with the exception of Organic) are produced using a material called ‘PLA’ (polyactic acid) which is a 100% plant-based and biodegradable material.

How do I get a personal delivery?

Is delivery free?

Yes delivery is free through our personal delivery service and there is never an obligation to buy anything.

ONLINE PURCHASES

How much is delivery?

Standard UK delivery is free for orders over £35 and £3.95 for orders under £35. Standard delivery usually takes two working days from dispatch. You can also select next day delivery at the checkout for £7.95. You can see all of our delivery options here.

How do I return an online order?

Just get in contact with us via email at tea@ringtons.co.uk or ring our freephone number on 0800 052 2440. Returns are free!

What couriers do you use?

We use a range of different couriers depending on the order and delivery location but predominately we use Royal Mail and Amazon shipping for most UK orders.
