Our range of cafetière coffees will both wake you up and give you something tastily rich to sip on during your day.

We understand that good quality coffee begins with the beans, and our expert coffee team knows the best places to source them for the most flavoursome brew. After sourcing them, we then carefully blend and roast them in our particular way that ensures all of the deep, rich flavour stays intact. You won’t want to go back to any other coffee after drinking ours!
At Ringtons, we have the cafetière coffee to suit your preferences, whether you want a day-drinking coffee like our Classic Blend, a more intense flavour like our Dark Roast, or something to enjoy even later in the evening like our Decaf Coffee.

  • What Makes Cafetière Coffee Special?

Cafetière coffee is a coffee brewing method that allows the rich, full-bodied flavour of the beans to stay intact during the coffee-making process. It does this by keeping the coffee’s oils in the coffee when separating the grounds from the water, leading to a more intense flavour.

There is also something special about the ritual of making cafetière coffee in the morning, whether it’s for just yourself or the whole family. The act of scooping out the coffee grounds, adding water to the French press, and then separating the coffee using the strainer is an enjoyable routine that finishes with a delicious cup of coffee. It’s far more satisfying than stirring instant coffee into a mug or pressing a button on a machine!

What Makes Our Cafetière Coffee Special?

Here at Ringtons, we know coffee. We have excellent sources for our coffee beans, including Central America, South America, and East Africa. We’re also proud to have an expert coffee team in Newcastle, who has plenty of experience and knowledge on how to take coffee beans and turn them into the perfect blend.

  • How to Make Cafetière Coffee

Making cafetière coffee is both easy and enjoyable. You start with a fresh cafetière (or French press), which you then fill with a scoop of your high-quality coffee. Then, pour some freshly boiled water over the top and put the lid on, leaving the plunger as is for a little while. You can brew the amount of time to suit your tastes, but generally, up to four minutes is the way to go (you want a rich cup, not a bitter one). Push the plunger down to the bottom, and then pour and enjoy, adding sugar and cream if you prefer.
