The Best Biscuits for Dunking

The Best Biscuits for Dunking

We’re raising our mugs to that glorious moment when biscuit meets brew.

Dunking is an art, a science, and let’s be honest, a bit of a gamble. But fear not, we’ve brewed up some tea-rific tips to help you perfect your dunk and avoid tragic tea-time casualties.

Top tips to dunk like a pro!

Choose the right biscuit: Avoid crumbly or cream-filled biscuits unless you like biscuit soup.

Pick your brew: Tea or coffee both work well. however black tea with a splash of milk offers the best biscuit bath.

Dunk time matters: Two seconds is the sweet spot. Any longer and you’re fishing off your cuppa with a spoon.

Grip with care: Hold your biscuit near one end, and dunk half at a time, thus avoiding a soggy biscuit.

Mug shape matters: A mug with a wide brim gives more dunking surface. Say no to narrow cups of doom.

And most importantly, practice makes perfect! So celebrate this National Biscuit Day with the ultimate dunk - and maybe a second biscuit for practice!
