Always a popular choice, our Celebration Cake Mix includes the finest ingredients and quality dried fruit to create a delicious and mouth-watering festive cake which is bursting with seasonal flavours. Baking a show stopping cake has never been easier! Simply add three eggs and 150g of butter and allow plenty of time to ‘feed’ your cake.

The set includes a foil tin (not shown) to bake the cake in.

Ingredients required:

• Soft spread or butter for greasing the bowl
• 3 large eggs
• 150g butter

Utensils needed:

• Mixing spoon
• Oven gloves
• 1 mixing bowl
• Cooling tray
• Palette knife

Your cake will gain extra flavour by maturing if prepared 3-6 weeks before eating. During this period you may add your favourite spirit, a little at a time every week or so. After turning the cake upside down and piercing the base all over with a skewer, trickle some brandy or whisky liberally all over the surface, allow to soak in then store the cake in greasproof paper or foil.

Mixed fruit bag 450g: sultanas, raisins, glace cherries (glucose fructose syrup, citric acid, colours, erythrosine; preservative: sulphur dioxide), candied mixed peel (orange peel, lemon peel, glucose fructose syrup, salt, acidity regulator: citric acid; preservative: sulphur dioxide), sunflower oil.

Cake base mix bag 350g: fortified wheat flour (Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin – Vitamin B3, Thiamine-Vitamin B1), sugar, modified maize starch, mixed spice (coriander, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, fennel, cloves, cardmom), whey powder (milk), raising agents: disodium diphosphate, sodium bicarbonate; emulsifiers (E472b, E471, E477, maltodetrin, skimmed milk powder, stabiliers E450), salt.
