A classic Ringtons blend with delicate citrus notes of bergamot. We've chosen a milder Kenyan tea for this blend, rather than a traditional China tea which can sometimes be bitter. We specially seal the tea used in our Earl Grey at the tea estates, to lock in the freshness, then during blending we infuse the tea with natural bergamot oil to deliver a smooth, delicately flavoured tea.

We suggest the following preparation, brewing and preservation tips to help you fully enjoy your Ringtons tea.
Preparation – Use one tea bag per cup for the perfect Earl Grey tea. Freshly drawn water (which has not been over-boiled) will bring out the finest flavours of our teas. Just boiled water is the ideal temperature for our Earl Grey tea bags.
Brewing - All teas need time to properly infuse, releasing their true flavours. Ringtons Earl Grey tea bags are best brewed for 3-5 mins, but no longer.
Serving suggestion - Can be served with milk or a slice of lemon.
