Take your cocktail menu to the next level and infuse your own gin and vodka with Ringtons tea. It’s really easy to do and a fabulous way to utilise your Ringtons products.
What you need:
20g of loose leaf tea/infusion
1x 750g bottle of gin or vodka
Method:
Carefully add the loose leaf tea to your bottle of alcohol.
Shake and leave to infuse for two hours.
Strain to remove the tea and voila, you have your infusion!
You can use any loose leaf tea or infusion, but at the moment we’re loving:
- Earl Grey Gin, it’s soothing with lovely citrus notes – perfect topped with sparkling wine, prosecco or cava and garnished with lemon.
- Lapsang Souchong Gin is smoky and complex. This gin works well with muddled lemon and orange, sweetened with honey and topped with soda…don’t forget the ice!
- Strawberries and Cream Vodka, with summer on the way what could be more seasonal? The Strawberries and Cream infusion is delicious with plenty of ice, a good squeeze of lemon, extra strawberries and finished with lemonade.
