Roasting coffee in a drum turning on a horizontal axis is the oldest method still commonly in use today, and is the traditional form of slow roasting.
Ringtons use gas powered PROBAT roasters equipped with variable drum speed and airflow to roast our coffee. This is coupled with in drum temperature sensors, enabling us to ensure all beans are heated evenly throughout the roast.
