Deluxe Extra Fresh Loose Tea is a great tasting black tea for everyday. Rich and smooth, this heritage style loose leaf tea is vacuum packed at the source to keep its sweet and malty flavours as fresh as possible. A Ringtons favourite!

Our Extra Fresh Loose blend combines the refreshing, lively teas grown at the Nandi Hills in Kenya, with the sweet maltiness of teas from India’s Assam Valley. All teas included in this blend have been individually selected for their specific flavour qualities. These teas are also 100% vacuum packed at source to preserve these distinct flavours and deliver an exceedingly fresh taste.

£5.50 Next Day delivery via courier DPD. Orders must be placed before midday. This service is for working days so orders placed on a Friday will be delivered on Monday.
Doorstep Delivery
If you are a Ringtons customer and currently receive a regular Doorstep delivery by one of our Salespeople, you are eligible to a special FREE delivery service for online orders to your home address. For this you will need to enter your salesperson’s Doorstep Loyalty Code at the checkout. Please be aware that although these online orders will be delivered by your Salesperson, they are separate to your regular Doorstep delivery and can take up to 30 days from order date.

Returns:
If you find that the items you have ordered are unsuitable for your needs then you may return them within 3 days of receiving the goods. Please contact Customer Services on 0800 052 2440 with details of why the product is unsuitable and we will arrange for one of our couriers to collect the goods from you. Please note that carriage charges are non-refundable. We will refund/exchange you on receipt of the unwanted goods, any opened or used goods will be refused a refund or exchange.

This tea has a wonderful aroma, and seems to me (I'm no expert) to be fresh just as advertised. The leaves are small (not tiny/ dust) but I don't think this detracts from the quality. It has a very strong flavour (I had to reduce the amount of tea I used per mug) which I enjoy, although not the caffeine hit I associate with strong tea (I enjoy the caffeine hit but not everyone likes that). However, I find there's also an even stronger aftertaste the likes of which I've never experienced before. I hated it at first, but drinking nothing but this tea at the moment (to use up what wouldn't fit into my metal tin), it's starting to grow on me a little (particularly after reducing the amount of tea added and increasing the amount of milk). I would still say it's "not to my taste", but that doesn't tell anyone else anything. I've been drinking this tea for a few days, so I can't tell you if the aftertaste will continue to grow on me, but that's the only reason for a less than five star rating- it is genuinely good tea.
