Quick Overview

Sweet Osmanthus green organic Oolong tea that is perfectly complementing by fruity Osmanthus flowers.

Product Description

This organic oolong tea is produced from single large tea leaves, which are gently rolled and squeezed in large cotton sacks, forming tight balls. The edges of each leaf are slightly bruised during the rolling process, causing some oxidation and allowing the complex flavours to develop. These are then further enhanced during the final baking process.

The leaves slowly unfurl as they are infused, and a teaspoonful will eventually expand to almost fill a Teafuser - look for the distinctive purple edges on the infused leaves.

Sweet Osmanthus flowers are added to the green Oolong tea leaves giving it a unique slightly fruity flavour, making Osmanthus Oolong tea one of the most popular Oolong teas to buy.

As with all Oolongs, the flavour develops in successive infusions.
