Flavoury Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe 1 (FTGFOP1 - or as some might say: "Far Too Good For Ordinary People") teas are only grown and processed in Darjeeling. The unique climate and altitude on the foothills of the himalayas allow for slow seasonal leaf growth on the bushes and the factories continue with traditional processing methods - producing the unmistakeable 'muscatel' flavour of pure Darjeeling teas. This is not a blend - we select individual teas from a small number of gardens and use them in rotation.

| Tasting Notes | Pale in colour, highly aromatic, refreshing and has the distinctive dry ‘muscatel’ flavour. Contrary to popular wisdom, is is quite acceptable to add milk to Darjeeling, together with a little sugar, which enhances the flavour. Please do not add lemon, as this spoils the delicate flavour. |
