Product Description
We think this is the top grade of Jasmine tea produced in China, using finest 'Mao Feng' green tea tips and repeatedly scented to build up the intensity of the flavour. The name comes from the soft white shoots of the green tea. The Jasmine blossoms are picked during the heat of the day before being placed on top of the tea in the evening. As the ambient temperatures begin to drop the blossoms naturally open up, releasing their scent, and infusing the tea leaves. This process is repeated three times, giving the tea an extremely strong Jasmine flavour. Although most of the Jasmine flowers are removed from the tea you may fine a rare blossom in amongst the tea leaves.
