This by far the best tea I have ever tasted. Having drunk Kenyon Gold for 5 years, I really don't like the taste of cheap popular tea sold in Supermarkets. Collegues call me a tea snob but no other tea comes close to the taste of Kenyon Gold. (Posted on 17/08/2011)

I'm from the north so tea drinking is part of my heritage! I've tried more types and brands of tea than you can shake a stick at but the Rington's Kenyan is by far the very best of the bunch. As a geordy I have drunk Ringtons tea for as long as I remember. Since having a Kenyan to stay 3 years ago I have swapped my allegiance to Kenyan gold teabags. We love the clear malty taste. (Posted on 25/03/2010)

I wish I'd bought more than one bag when a Rington's person called to the door.

The smell and taste were unusual and different to my palate, at first. Half way down my first cup, I knew that I was going to like it. It was like experiencing a decent wine for the first time after only having drunk plonk during my lifetime.

I've searched out more expensive premium brands of Kenyan tea but they didn't hold a candle to this one. So if you're considering a change, be prepared for something surprising, different and utterly addictive. I suppose it's like Marmite - you'll either love it or you'll hate it and stick to the familiar. I suspect, though, that you're like me and wouldn't come to this site unless you wanted good quality tea, you aren't impressed by bland branded teas and you're up for something new.

The Rington's person doesn't call to the door anymore. In fact I've never seen him since (man of mystery!) - hence my visit to the website. (Posted on 22/05/2009)

After reading such good reviews, I was keen to try this tea. I found the smell off-putting and the taste matched the smell! I just did not feel I was having a cup of tea, as it had such a 'clawy' after-taste. (Posted on 31/01/2009)
