Communications Manager
- interim

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual with a background in marketing and/or brand communications and 4/5 years experience to join our Marketing team for at least one year. This person will be working on various projects associated with delivering the Ringtons brand message both internally and externally. Responsibilities will include:

Requirements:

  • At least 4 to 5 years experience of PR, Internal Communications, Proof Reading and copywriting
  • Driving license and happy to drive to UK offices as required
  • Experience in either an agency or client side role

Job spec:

  • Develop and initiate a multi-faceted communications plan to June 2014
  • Review and recommendations for bringing on board a PR agency and management thereafter.
  • Collation and presentation of all press cuttings.
  • Provide full marketing support and guidance for the “To Your Desk” trial and roll out in conjunction with the Ecommerce team.
  • Develop, champion and maintain internal and external tea education (for sales people and sales reps, working closely with new training manager, as well as our end user customers.)
  • Develop and roll out new product briefing forms/system.
  • Development of an on-line forum for news/reviews/questions-answers/blogs etc. amongst sales people.
  • Ensure a marketing presence is maintained at key Regional meetings and  the dialog between Marketing and other departments & offices is positive and collaborative
  • Ensure that the communication links between E-Commerce and Customer Care are strengthened and the departments run seamlessly together.
  • Development of new mailing lists for email and post – new and current customers.

Operations

Starting Salary circa £21k

An opportunity has become available to join our operations team as a Coffee Departmental Team Leader
The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge of our coffee roasting and packing section delivering our product to retailer based specification systems, HACCP, the BRC Standard and other systems common to the food industry. The company will offer support and training to ensure the candidate can quickly make a positive contribution to the manufacturing function within the business. An experienced people manager with good organisational skills is fundamental to success in the role.

Based at our busy production facility on North Tyneside, you will report to the Senior Manufacturing Manager. A qualification in Food Manufacturing or similar is desirable along with excellent computer skills. Previous exposure within food production would be advantageous.
